Recon Buggy

The Recon Buggy is the fastest ground unit and the cheapest thing with a gun. Its machine gun is only dangerous to light targets, but its vision is what you are paying for.

How to use

Build one early and send it around the map: find the enemy base, count their extractors, and spot the lane their army will use. Later, a pack of buggies kills engineers and raids undefended extractors, then leaves before armor arrives. Never fight tanks or turrets with it.

Anecdotes

The Long Range Desert Group crossed the Sahara in stripped-down Chevrolet trucks, navigating by sun compass and trusting speed instead of armour. They spent most of the war watching roads and writing down what drove past.
