The War Factory produces ground vehicles: Engineers, Recon Buggies, Wolf Light Tanks and Flak Tracks at Tier 1. It is the first production building in almost every opening, and it makes Engineers too, so a base that loses its HQ can still rebuild it from here. It takes one of the Headquarters's production slots, shared with the Airbase and the Naval Yard. Each HQ provides three by default; Game config sets the number per HQ. When those slots are full, another HQ adds more.
How to use
Build it right after your first extractors and power, set a rally point toward the enemy, and keep it producing: an idle factory is wasted metal. Two factories double your army's growth if the economy can feed them, but they are two of your three slots, so a third is a choice against ever having an airbase or a yard without a second Headquarters. Upgrade to the Advanced War Factory as soon as you can afford it; Battle Tanks and tank destroyers change what fights you can take. Losing it mid-fight cuts off reinforcements, so it belongs inside the turret ring, not out toward the front.
