The Vulture Bomber drops a stick of five bombs with wide splash. It is the air force's siege weapon: wide blasts punish buildings and clustered turrets.
How to use
Send bombers at what artillery cannot reach: the enemy's power plants, Advanced factories and Radar. Killing power first slows every turret you fly over next. Bombers are slow and turn wide, so they take the full weight of any SAM site on the way in. Clear or bait anti-air with cheaper aircraft, or escort with Fighters against enemy interceptors. A Vulture carries two sticks and then flies home to an Airbase or an available Aircraft Carrier for the next load. Rain and snow spread a stick wider, so bomb in clear weather when you can.
Anecdotes
“The bomber will always get through” was a British prime minister's line in 1932, and it shaped a decade of nervous policy. Radar and fighters proved him wrong, but he was never wrong about the side that built neither.
