- Aimed from a mount that turns on its own: the unit fires in any direction without turning its hull, and can keep firing on the move. A fixed gun has to face its target first. The shell is lobbed over whatever stands between the gun and its mark and comes down on the spot it was aimed at: it punishes what stands still and misses what has moved.

The Tempest fires an eight-rocket salvo at 13 tiles, with each rocket spreading high-explosive damage around its impact. Its eight-second reload leaves a gap between volleys, and its blast area rewards shooting into clustered units or buildings. It requires a Radar Station and is built at the Arsenal, the war factory’s third level.
How to use
Treat it as a howitzer with a bigger hammer. Get vision on the target from a drone or Radar, fire, and reposition during the long reload. It has a minimum range and no way to defend itself, so keep it well behind the line with anti-air overhead. Point defence can intercept its rockets. Against a protected gun line, overwhelm the magazines or bring shell artillery that cannot be intercepted.
Anecdotes
Soviet rocket crews named theirs Katyusha, after a popular song about a girl waiting for her soldier. The Germans underneath called the same weapon the Stalinorgel, Stalin's organ, for the noise it made on the way in.
