- Must be placed on a metal deposit
The Metal Extractor mines a deposit. There is no storage cap: your economy is the extractors you keep alive.
How to use
Claim every deposit you can reach and drive on the enemy's. Each extractor drains a little power, so a Power Plant per two or three keeps the grid green. Upgrade to the Advanced Extractor when a deposit is safe and you have spare metal: the same deposit can produce more without claiming new ground. Guard remote extractors with a patrol; turrets can cover them only when the site is inside your side’s headquarters build radius, unless that rule is disabled. Raids on them are how games are lost quietly. An extractor below half its health mines at half its rate, so one a raid left badly damaged is still costing you metal: send an engineer to mend it.
