The Advanced Extractor upgrades a Metal Extractor on the same deposit. Its base income rises from 1.4 to 3 metal per second, while its power draw rises from 4 to 8. The upgrade costs 190 metal and takes 16 seconds at full power.
How to use
Upgrade your safest deposits first, the ones inside the base, since the upgrade is lost with the building. It is the best mid-game investment when every free deposit is already taken. Watch the power meter as you upgrade several: each one draws twice what it did.
